    ******* SOLD **********

    I've owned this bass for about 4 years or so and have never taken it out of the house for fear of getting a single scratch on it.

    Its the blue one in the pics... red one was sold a long time ago

    Here's the details:
    * swamp ash body
    * maple neck with Walnut stringers
    * highly figured bird's eye maple fingerboard
    * quilted maple top (I'm pretty sure this is the deep triple step process)
    * Asymmetrical wide neck (19mm)
    * Tung oiled finish on the back of the neck
    * Carvin humbucking pickups
    * Piezo bridge
    * Carvin electronics /18-volt + push/pull active/passive
    * Black hardware
    * No inlays on the fingerboard
    * OHSC

    I think the frets are the med-jumbo sized stainless steel (I can't confirm on this)

    * it feels as though the frets may need a slight, very slight filing on the treble side.

    New from Carvin, you'd pay over $1800 + shipping....
    If I sell, get it for [DEL]$1200 [/DEL] $1,000 shipped CONUSA/PayPal

    This sounds nothing like Icons I've had in the past (or LB75's for that matter) - this bass has some punch and bite to it, and lots of tonal option, especially with the piezo pickups.
