    SOLD!

Price Drop! $900 shipped to CONUS

UPDATE (5/7): Trade fell through. Back on the block!

    Pix are here - http://betweenthegrooves.wordpress....-late-80s-naturalblonde-with-maple-fretboard/

Not sure I want to let her go, as she's been in my life for so long, but ....

I'm considering selling my Ernie Ball Music Man Sting Ray, natural with maple fretboard, black pick guard, two-band EQ. Sounds great, great playability. Born in '88, I believe (checking on this). Serial no. BO22236

It's not pristine, as I've played it off and on in numerous gig and recording situations. There are several dings and worn places, and one dime-sized chipped spot on the back of the neck (at about the fifth fret). The attached stock pic will give you an idea of how it looked, new.

Asking $1,000, and buyer pays shipping from 33611. Considering trade offers.

PMs responded. I plan to post my own pix tonight.
Possibly open to trades for 4- or 5-string fretted (Fender P or J, Lakland, Pedulla, Spector, maybe some others) and/or 4-string fretless basses. I can't put any $$ into a trade.

I've owned Stingrays from less than 9lbs to 10.5lbs. That 1.5lbs makes a big difference to some of us.

    I agree - that's a big difference. I didn't know it varied that much.

I don't know what mine weighs, and I don't have an accurate way to check at the moment. My guess is that it would be on the lighter side or medium range of the 9 to 10.5 lbs. I've picked up basses that are much heavier (like my Telecaster, years ago). Then again, maybe I just got used to the weight.

If I can get more accurate weight info, I'll post it here.
    thanks

Thanks for all the trade offers. I'm looking through them now - several are very intriguing.
I'm still open to cash offers and trade suggestions, fretted or fretless. Anyone wanting to trade a Lakland 4 or 5?

Thanks for all the responses on this. All PMs answered.
Haven't been able to get online this morning, because I'm in a place with spotty Internet access this weekend.
Gearhunter, I don't have a PM from you, so please re-send.

To answer a question - It comes with a Fender soft gig bag. I no longer have the hsc.

    SALE PENDING

    All PMs answered.

I've had a flurry of activity on this. Deal is now pending with the first person who offered to buy it.

If anything changes, I'll update the info here.

Gearhunter, sorry that your first PM didn't go through. I double-checked - the only one I have from you is the one you just sent.

    Thanks for all the interest.
