I just got this, and am in love with the neck, but number 1, I'm a P bass guy, and have been using it front pickup only. Number two- I'm really not into active basses. This has a passive/active, but then there is no tone control....

What I would be looking for is a P bass with a jazz width neck. A PJ might work depending on what it is. I'm a true sucker for bound and blocked.

The perfect bass (in my muddled mind) would be an Inca silver skyline Duck Dunn. Unfortunately, I know there were only a few of these made...

Let me know what you got.

There are a couple of small impressions on the front of the body, and a couple on the back of the neck, but over all in very good used condition. Plays great, and everything works, but it doesn't sound like a "P".

PS: For those of you who noticed my last post- my Honey-Bunny's got my back on this one :)

    Bump.
Actually thinking about keeping this, and putting hum cancelling pickups with stack knob controls to have tone control in passive... Anyone done something like this?

This is no longer available. I thought I had a trade going, but haven't heard back from him.

In the meantime I put in a set of concentric controls, which give me a passive tone control for each pickup in either active or passive.

I think that turned it into a keeper! (for awhile anyway):D

    Thanks for looking
