  1. ok, this sucks...i'm gonna have to let another one go...house doesn't come with appliances, and i already want to repaint and recarpet, so here goes:

    lefay herr schwarz:

    ash body, black stain
    padauk neck, bolt on
    padauk fingerbboard, 22 frets + 0 fret
    passive electronics
    lefay rough crystal soapbars
    controls are:
    4-way selector
    1-bridge pickup
    2-both parallel
    3-neck pickup
    4-both series
    abm bridge (20mm spacing)
    schaller straplocks and tuners
    black hardware

i'll repost pics later and links to soundclips (they're on the lefay.de websit)...i don't know of any other herr schwarz 5 string in the u.s., so here's your chance - maybe...this bass is in pristine condition and comes in a padded gig bag the way i got it from reiner

$2000.00 firm plus shipping (it costed me almost $2500.00 with added duties, overseas shipping/freight and customs tax)

lakland darryl jones 5 string w/j-retro

i just got this bass from bass northwest a couple weeks ago...if you've never tried this bass out, it's _amazing_...if i were to go to one bass, this may be it, if there is any interest on the lefay for the only reason that it does everything excellently...

    black sparkle finish
    white pickguard
j-retro preamp (not the deluxe model)
    maple neck
rosewood fingerboard with pearloid blocks and white binding

i also added dunlop straplocks, which i'll keep on there if you're interested, and i'll make sure the original buttons go with it...this bass would come in the levy's 'lakland' gig bag that i got with the bass...again, i'll repost some pics later on if there is any response

    $1250.00 shipped

i'm in pain here, folks...let's see if there's any interest...thanks!
