SOLD FEELER: My Fodera Yin/Yang 4

Okay:

SO. This is the most amazing 4-string bass ever, of course =0) But there are a few things working against it:

1. I play almost exclusively 6 string these days
2. It's got *some* emotional attachment to a relationship that is no more.
3. It's so nice and just stays at home, alone, on the wall 99% of the time. It had a great time playing with others at the GTG tho =0)

ARGH - I don't know whether I should sell it or keep it, but I realize if I keep it it wouldn't be "to get played". I didn't even use it in the studio, on the album we're recording.

This feeler is to gauge interest and also is to find out what the market will bear for the bass. I mean, if selling should I ask $5k? More, less? list on these is up to some $8300 or whatever but obviously I don't want to gouge.

It is a rare piece and it does have Vic's autograph on it...

*sigh*

Feel free to discuss, maybe this will turn into a full FS post and maybe not.

 

I'm an idiot - off the top of my head I *think* it's a 2-band but I truly cannot remember!

 

Exactly why I'm considering it...

 

thanks for the responses guys - it'd be hard to let go, but I'm leaning that way.

Here are a few pics I have - notice in the ebony, just after the end of the fretboard, there's a discolored "sliver-shaped" spot (lighter than the black) on the body - that's just natural and has been there as long as I've had the bass, isn't a damaged spot.
