I was pleased with my ears today. I was sitting in my bedroom, half-dressed, half-listening to Radio Free Phoenix, when on came a song that made me think: "this sounds a lot like Cream." The song was called For Yasgur's Farm, and was by a band called Mountain. A quick peek into the internet and I discover that Mountain's bassist and songwriter was none other than Felix Pappalardi, the longtime producer of a certain sixties supergroup that went by the name of Cream. Well done, ears. I will daub you with expensive oils and lotions tonight, by way of congratulations. Read more.
