Fender´s FSR line????

    and I believe the ones you listed are actually MIM fenders in natural ash

    I saw a MIM J in Natural Ash. I of course, had to play it. Not a good one - but hey, that's what you expect (although you hope for a good one) when you pick up a MIM Fender.

    FSR's are typically a different color not offered in that model.

    What was wrong about it? Something that could be remedied with upgrades or was it more of a feel thing?

    FSR is Factory Special Run, and they're limited editions, generally of colors that are otherwise unavailable, and IIRC, limited to one dealer or chain. This one, is as stated the ash version of a MIM Precision, and will be just as hit or miss as any other MIM Fender.
