About the bass itself: Aside from the tone and balance, the color and shape of this gorgeousness is what stole my heart. The neck has undeniably browned with age and the body color was only available for 1998 and 1999, ending the century with a BANG! It is completely stock when wearing the included white pickguard. This bass is a 1998 (graphite rods) and is in very good condition. There are two small chips, one at headstock throat and one on the butt, and a few tiny, insignificant nicks here and there. There is some minor finish checking and weathering on the rear of the neck, but nothing that really captures in pictures. Nothing serious at all. There are no finish cracks on the pocket sides. Very sturdy. Minor cosmetics... I included a neck gasket to prolong the integrity of this wonderful finish. I believe the pickups are either the '60s vintage or the adjusted American Standard ones. None of the poles extend past the covers, which feels very nice, and they do follow the radius curvature, which gives great string to string balance. Very little fret wear. The neck is capable of ridiculously low action. It balances very well at 9.1 pounds. 9lb, 2oz. RARE Plum Purple Metallic. $400 or best offer for either the neck or the body. Thank you.
