Fender 410 vs Hartke hd410

    My fender 410 at 8ohms 350 watts is far louder than my Hartke hydrive 410 at 8ohms 1000w both running of my Hartke LH1000 running 8ohm single cab into 500w@4 ohm side so I guess 250w into either cab the fender cab is loaded with eminence speakers and im getting 5.5ohms on the multimeter
    the hartke is getting 6.7 ohms on the meter. A battery check of all speakers shows they are working fine anyone have a clue why the volume is so different between the 2 cabs

    If you bridged the LH1000 into the Hydrive you probably wouldn't need to turn up past 2.

    It's not about being louder. The Harke is just better. Much better. :)
     
  4. The answer is in the sensitivity ratings of each cabinets drivers. The 1KW cabinet will probably have lower sensitivity. I agree the Hartke cabinet is a better choice.
