    Hi there,

Sorry, I'm no longer selling this bass.

I Have pictures of a minor defect past the 20th fret. From the top it looks like a depression in the rosewood. From the edge of the heal it looks like a well repaired chip. I had the bass for two months and never noticed anything wrong. Plays beautifully!!

I bought this bass brand new! It is 3TS with tort guard. Weight is appx 10# but not more. Everything is completely stock and functions perfectly. The bass sounds very warm for a jazz. It is strung with TI jazz flats. The fretwork is well done-- just a great bass. I went to Bass Emporium every week for about four months to find a 60s jazz that sounded great and this bass is the result of that quest. All the store employees remarked on the tone of this particular bass. It is warm, even and extremely full.

I would like to also point out that this is a jazz bass and does all the things that jazzes do well: it has a great midrange burp when soloing the bridge p'up and a grinding bottom when soloing the neck p'up.

It comes with a decent Fender gig bag. Lower 48 please.

In keeping with the 60s vibe, the truss rod is in the neck heel and it requires removing the neck to make an adjustment.

I discovered through a tech that you can wrap a bandanna around the neck/strings between the nut and the first fret while making truss rod adjustments. This set up will allow you to tweak the rod without removing the strings from their posts.:)

    Thanks GV!

It is a beauty. Had I not just invested in some serious keyboard gear :hyper: for my hip hop/soul band, I'd love to keep her. But you know how it goes: only so much dough to go around.:(

Pup wiring is routed through the body on these, you could "go Jaco" if you liked. Bump for a nice bass at a nice price.

Had a 60's jazz for a couple of years. Miss it - a great bass.

Just wanted to add that it's really not needed to remove the neck in order to adjust the truss rod.
