Where was this 2 weeks ago! Couldn't find a Fullerton-era reissue anywhere, so ended up buying a Nash instead.

    Nice looker, good price. Bump!

Mark, get the P, sell the Nash.

    Fullertons are awesome!

Tempting, but the Nash is groovy Dakota Red, and I already have a sunburst P ('66)

While I'm happy to ship to any part of the world (and have done so in the past),
the new USPS insurance and size limitations eliminated the only economical way to do so.
FedEx quotes almost $450 to get this bass to Europe and over $550 to Australia.
FedEx ground shipping to almost anywhere in the US is under $40.

I installed the covers and took a few more pictures today:
    Bodywcovers.

    Wow stunning!
    I assume this is a "C" neck 1.7/5"
    or perhaps "B" 1.5/8"?

C - 1.75", but very thin front to back.

Best way to ship bolt-on basses internationally these days is with the neck off via UPS Priority Mail International - it's insured and trackable, with a size limit of 79" overall (length + width + depth). I've got a Nash and a Stingray coming to me right now across the Pacific and shipping is $90-$100 each. Unless the hard case is something very special, that's the most economical way to ship.

Just so you know, as you'll have a much better chance of selling this internationally given the shambles that is the US economy at the moment.

Another free bump for this tremendous looking bass!

You are right, that does work for Australia, but for most of Europe and Canada, USPS limits the insurance to $650.
Sorry, the last bass I was asked to quote shipping to Aus was a neck-thru Rickenbacker.

i think the (instrument) market has slowed due to uncertainties in the US economy. I sold one just like this (with a little more wear) for over 2k to a guy in England a few months ago. needless to say this is a great bass at a great price.
