It will be a long waiting period, but definitely well worth it. :D

My aerodyne will be defretted and become "epoxy fretless" by HG Thor.

My waiting period is 731, well, 730 days to be exact. ;)

  4. Ouch, thats a long wait!

  5. Why does it take two years to defret a bass? Does he do one fret a month?

  6. no he does it as fast as he can, he just does it with an old magnet, slowly pulling the frets out. it can be tough...at least its faster than using mind powers

The waiting list is 2 years. go read the website. He's a one man operation. The bass isn't sent until you are at the top of the queue.

Do it yourself with the help of a "handy" friend or relative. :)

I don't have that kind of skill, and for me, I trust "professional" to do the kind of job.

This is not the picture of my Aerodyne, but I'm sure mine will look as gorgeous as this one. :D
