i have found one of those used Fender Aerodyne Jazz basses in a local shop they want 400 for it. it looks great and it has a set of duncan quarter pounders in it (p&j). Just wanted to know what everyones feelings for this bass were.

My friend had one that he converted into a fretless... I thought it was a bad idea at first because I loved its sound while it was fretted. It's a great bass for the money... if you don't mind have a bass that shows every fingerprint.

If I found one for $400 I'd buy it in a heartbeat...I love no pickguard Fenders, especially if it had upgraded pups!

I just played one this afternoon. I've been more than a little turned off at what Fender has been cranking out latley, but that bass really did it for me. NICE. I'm a dedicated P guy, but I really liked that Aerodyne. I'd even consider buying one if I were in the market for another bass. $400 sunds like a good price, I'd grab it if I were you.

  5. I want one of them :(

  6. I bought(or won) one from ebay without even seeing one in person. Aerodyne is a nice bass. And with those Duncan quarter pound PUs at $400.00. I would say try it first, check if everything works fine and the neck is OK and if you like it don't hesitate to buy. If you wouldn't buy, give me the address, e-mail of that shop :D :D :D
