Fender American Deluxe FMT

I posted this in my "welcome thread" and figured I'd post it here as well.

I've been looking for a Victor Bailey fretted 4 (hard to come by), but I found a 2005 American Deluxe Jazz FMT in Tobacco Sunburst. I'm aware of the differences between these two models (body types, etc.) and I was wondering if the Deluxe is worth getting over the Bailey. I've never had both side by side to A/B, so I'm hoping that the guys who have played both will chime in. Also, I can make an offer on the Deluxe and I'm looking for guidance on how much that bass is worth in the current market. They seem to be a bit rare.
