fender american deluxe zone bass

    well it looks like its uptome to make a name for this bass.

  3. I think there are some posts about it somehwere on TB.

    I have never played one but I know one thing: Depending on which finish you select, it can be positively GORGEOUS!

    There are some threads about this. I tried one early this year, and compared it back to back (at low volume) with a Lakland Skyline 44-02. I preferred the Fender, which had a fuller sound to me, and a nice blend of modern sheen and classic Fender tones. It reminded me of an American Deluxe Precision. I preferred the neck too, but that's no surprise since four of my five electric instruments are American Series Fenders.

    I definitely prefer passive basses, but if I wanted an active bass in that price range, I'd look closely at the Am. Deluxe Zone.
