a forum search turned up only a few opinions on the Fender American Deluxe Zone Bass. These results were kind of old too.

Any current opinions on this bass would be appreciated?

I'm looking for a second bass to complement my 62 RI Jazz.

    Thanks!

  2. I like the Zone basses, I like the versatile tone. They are light weight. Small neck which siuts me and my small hands just fine!

It looks quite un-Fenderish, especially the Walnut, and the shape looks more like Zon, but might be good.

BTW always a different smily for each reply, Treena? Soon you will run out of them... :p ;)

  4. They do look more like a Zon, I realized this after you pointed it out!

Not to worry there are thousands of these little smilies running around!

Still haven't been able to find one to play. :-(

How are these basses for slapping?

    Thanks!
