No longer available Fender American PJ bass

Olympic white American standard Fender PJ bass - in great condition.

This bass started its life as a maple neck 2014 American Standard. I swapped out the original neck for a 2008-2012 era American Standard rosewood neck.

My tech (a professional luthier) also replaced the stock P pickup with a Fender vintage 63' precision pickup. The previous owner had this bass professionally routed with very clean work, says my tech. Pickup might be a Nordstrand hum canceling jazz bass pickup in bridge, but I can't be sure. It's very quiet. (Current pup has grey, white, and black wire.) If it were me, I might throw a Fender 62 or 64 RI pup in the bridge. The P pickup is pretty dominant. Still, I've had success using the jazz pickup in a live band situation to bring out more brightness in my tone when it was needed.

Volume pots for both pickups + tone knob. Bass is currently strung with flats.

Frets in good shape. Overall bass is very clean! Scratch on 20th fret - see pic. Slight ding in headstock - see pic. Neck is fast and clean.

Forgot to take a pic of the back of the body but no issues - looks the same as the front.

Sale is for bass and hardshell tweed case. One lock on hardshell case is broken off.
