SOLD Fender American Professional Precision Bass (with upgrades and PLEK’d)

For sale is my 2019 Fender American Professional Precision bass. It’s in excellent condition, and has some great upgrades:

• The pickup has been upgraded to a Lollar standard P bass pickup. Original Fender V-mod pickup is included in the case.
• The frets have been PLEK’d by Joe Glaser in Nashville. It feels amazing!!
• Pickup and electronic cavities have been shielded with conductive copper foil.
• Stealth string retainer installed on the A-string tuning post.

The bass plays and sounds amazing!! I installed a tortoise shell pickguard on the bass, and will include the original white pickguard in the case. The only blemish on the bass is a small chip in the fretboard wood right behind the nut (on the headstock side of the nut). It’s hardly visible, and since it’s behind the nut, it doesn’t affect anything at all. The last picture shows this small chip. The bass weighs 8 lbs, 13 oz.

I’ll sell the bass for $1,100 plus partial shipping cost, anywhere in the CONUS. For shipping cost, it’ll either be $25, $50, or $75, depending on how far from me you’re located. I’ll use UPS’ shipping zones chart.

Bass is still available. With the Lollar pickup and PLEK job, this bass definitely plays and sounds better than a stock Fender American Pro you’ll find in a store. And with the chip in the rosewood being on the headstock side, it doesn’t affect the bass’ performance or playability at all.
