    I hate heaters!
    I used to have one. Very good B, great neck profile and well balanced sound.

    Thanks, it's an inexpensive fish scale from Walmart. Works great!

    I get the weirdest looks when I bring a scale to the music store, and start weighing basses.

    I also hang any bass I'm selling on the scale and include the picture.

    As I get older my "deal breaker" weight keeps going down. Nowadays, anything over nine is not for me, but I spent decades with a 13 pound Kramer.

    I'm eyeing the rob Allen mouse for that under 7 lb bass.

    I think 13 lbs would kill my back. Of course when you are young, weight isn't even a consideration. Last year I was in Sam Ash and picked up a Squire pj that I could feel was very light. I bought it and when I weighed it at home it was 7.5 lbs! I never thought about taking a scale to the store.
