Congrats! I was eyeing one exactly like that at my local GC. I don't need another P, but I was still sorely tempted--it was very impressive all around.

Great looking bass! I read an article about the changes that have been made to the new lines and they sound great!

    Wow! Nice combo rw/white/tort.
One change I really am glad to see, and it may be just a small one, but the glossy finish on the front of the headstock is a nice touch. Also the slight tinting they added to the neck finish. Just a nice little character connection to the earlier years. Enjoy!

My MIJ is the identical colour with rosewood fretboard and the tort pickguard... '93/'94. Pretty off-white as opposed to real olympic white, though. Nice bass!

Just ordered mine in black/rosewood from MF. They didn't have the color I wanted at local GC and for once I'd like to get one thats unplayed. For some reason, some of the American P's were not hanging up high that day.

Man that's a sweet bass...I wish I would of know that Fender was going to come out with these...I would of waited, but instead I bought the Hwy One version of that one before Christmas..
