I remember being repelled by Fiesta Red years ago when I saw it on a Strat. In my 16-year-old brain, it was uncool to like a boring red Strat as it was too close to Hank Marvin's. But I love the colour now - particularly Jazz basses in Fiesta.

Fiesta red is one of my favorite fender colors WHEN DONE RIGHT.

Not an avri, but a real 65 I restored from certain death.

As promised here are a few photos I just took of my three 63's… They really are incredible basses… two of them are faded sonic blue and the other one is Seminole red… I really wish I had an Olympic white one… that's my favorite color… I am on the hunt for one in Olympic White and I might as well do Sunburst too while I'm at it!

Great collection. I would prefer a Seminole red but snagged a sunburst for a solid price so won't complain. Are they all stock or did you modify them at all?

I tried to keep the stock pickup but after several attempts with them, they just aren't my thing. Right now a standard Fralin sounds great with Fender flats that are starting to die down a bit.

They are all stock… two of them have TI flats
And one of them has a set of GHS precision flats that I had custom ordered years ago before they made them too long on the E tuner, I think I'm going to put a set of Labella 760 FL on one of the ones with the TI's

Agreed. Mine has been a workhorse since day one (2013). It's been through a few hundred gigs and all the rehearsals that come with it. Although I did my best to keep the finish looking nice, the heat, the cold, the sun, the humidity, and general wear-and-tear of gigging have left mine looking pretty beat up. Still plays like a dream though!

Have a chance play one AVri 63P yesterday, I install a set EB cobalt flat on it. Even though with this bright sounding flat, she still sound woody thick and hefty! Compare to others Pbass I been install PV63 pickups, included my previous CIC Squier CV60P, the G string on AVri just sound solid full and the E has nice clarity.

Impressive, impressive..... impressive.
