No longer available Fender American Vintage Reissue ‘64 Jazz Bass

Phenomenal Lake Placid Blue Fender American Vintage Reissue ‘64 Jazz Bass. I will share what I know about it after the photos.



Original PUs, wiring, shielding. Relic’d control plate and bridge - unknown if original. I added the relic’d PU covers I had purchased separately. No idea where the originals are. The Res-O-Lite tuners are not relic’d nor original, but they are the best option available anywhere. Thumb rest holes added above strings not original. Neck is straight. Truss rod works excellently. Frets, nut all great excellent. Fresh TI Flats are thunderous with just a light touch. The finish has several small dings and nicks - please see photos.

Original cream colored case with “Skylar” printed neatly and proudly by the handle.

It’s a fun and good looking bass you can play anywhere with confidence and no worries whatsoever about bumping it.

$1925 PayPal packs it well and ships it anywhere in the lower 48 states. If someone doesn’t buy this quick, I’ll either drop the price or change my mind and just keep it.

It’s a great color. Bad timing for me. I should just keep it. I started getting super excited about trying a clean modern Jazz Bass with some EMGs and immediately decided to sell.

 

I still have it. I’m open to accepting an offer if you’re serious. I’ve just replaced the strings with LaBella Deep Talking Bass. I can include the TI Flats.
