Fender AVRI '62 Jazz bass. USA made. From approximately the early 2000's. Vintage white, rosewood board. Weighs 9 lbs even on my scale. All original except for a beautiful Spitfire tort guard (slightly shrunken like all real nitrocellulose) and 1964 Fender pure vintage pickups. LaBella Gold Tapewound strings. Schaller strap locks. (Strap side lock not included) Great shape with a couple of small marks near the strap pin. No dings or dents through the paint. Starting to yellow nicely. See pic with black gig bag for closest color match. The camera is making the finish look too stark white. It is a cream color. Only selling because the skinny Jazz necks don't work for me. This was the best of about 5 AVRI Jazz basses that I have owned. Comes with OHSC. Some case candy remains but most is gone. Has bridge cover and mutes. No pickup cover or cord, etc. Asking $1050 plus $45 shipping OBO. I will consider trades for USA made four string passive instruments only. Cash up or down as needed. Please send trade offers by PM.
Oh yeah, good point. This did come with stacked knobs. I didn't like them. In keeping with a real '62 Jazz, I put in the 3 knob set up using USA CTS pots, cap and Switchcraft jack.
Not a 4 string, but figured I'd give it a shot if your interested. Custom Carvin PB5 Passive/active controls.
Yeah, thanks for the trade offer, but it has one too many strings. Maybe one day I will convert to a 5'er but as of yet it doesn't work for me.
