Fender 62 AVRI Precision Bass (Candy Apple Red)

This bass has been heavily modified.
Picked up on TB. If i find the link I’ll include below.

Originally routed to be a PJ plus a Mudbucker in the neck. (Prior Owner)
No longer available - 1991 Fender American Vintage AVRI 62 Precision

I had Luxxtone Guitars install Lollar Thunderbird pickups and had the neck stripped.
Wired with Fender Concentric Knobs/Pots. Vol/Tone for each PU

It has some odd finish blemishes that are believed to be from a guitar stand. (Prior Owner)

    Currently strung with Dunlop 45-105

Also I have Glow in the dark stickers on the side dots. Can be removed if desired.

    Monocase Sleeve included.

    Shipped CONUS: 1300

    Payment: PayPal Friends and Family

I'm curious about your choice of pickup placement, why didn't you put the neck pickup in the pbass pickup position instead of above it, and how does it affect the sound?

My tech and I were just trying to make the post of a PJ. Tried to eyeball the placement of pinos (the who) fender bass.

as for the bridge. I didn’t want it too close to the bridge.

there’s a link above to a Dropbox video.
