    Fender Bassman 1200. Probably the loudest bass amp I've ever heard. Tube pre. 1200w @ 2 ohms.

    This is a rebadge / redesign of the sunn 1200t

    That's a re-branded SUNN 1200s if I'm not mistaken. Fener bought the SUNN name around that time, and I don't think they did more to this amp than put a Fender logo on it.

    Might want to put SUNN in the thread title, as that amp had plenty of fans who may not know there's a Fender version.

    They also made some updates. The Sunn would overheat, especially in a rack. This has a fan.

    Agree with all of it but it was always a Fender design. That and the 300T were both Fender amps they put the Sunn name on. It’s a powerhouse irregardless and the Fender version is more reliable from what I have been told. I’ve been wanting another one of these for years!

    Thanks! Yeah it's great. I cant imagine needing any more than this, and you can plug in 4 8ohm cabs! And it sounds great, too. I'm used to massive tube amps so this is pretty manageable compared to that as well
