Fender Bassman 250 vs Eden Nemesis NC210

Discussion in 'Amps and Cabs [BG]' started by lowendpurveyor, Feb 5, 2006.

  1. Just wondering if anyone has had experience with either and if so what did you guys think. I've played the Fender Bassman 150. It had a nice clean tone but was a little bland sounding and I don't know how it would stand up in a band setting. So I have similar concerns for the Bassman 250 combo. The Eden Nemesis I tried seemed to have more grunt and personality and a lot of bottom end. Seemed like it would do well in a band setting. However I'm concerned that I can't get a nice clean enough sound out of it. What do you guys think?

In my experience the Nemesis 210P is a great combo for a band. I used one that way for quite some time. When I added an Eden D210T cabinet the sound got dramatically better to my ears. I don't know about the Fender, but I like Fenders in general.
