Looking at grabbing one of these for small gigs and jamming in a small studio.
Is it better to go with a larger single 15 or higher wattage with two 10s?

Please let me know your thoughts.

    Thanks!

I'd prefer the 210 tone wise, but depends on what sound you're looking for.

I have the Bassman 250/115 combo and the Rumble 500/210 combo, which outputs 350 watts by itself, but 500 with an 8 ohm extension cab. Yes, the 500 is a newer, upgraded, lighter version of the Rumble 350/210.

The Bassman has more controls and features than the Rumble, though the Rumble has more power. Age, weight wise, and probably price wise, they should be fairly similar. Neither can add an extension cab. I would forget about the speaker size difference in your decision making, because either can get the same general tones as the other, except the Bassman has more tone-shaping controls. Either could do a good job for you.

I would boil it down to, do you want the extra power of the Rumble, or the extra features of the Bassman?
