Hi, I am a New bass player who after being disapointed with my new Fender Rumble 100 15" amp just bought a new Fender Bassman 400 Head and 4x10 Cabinet. I am quite overwhelmed with all of the settings. If anyone has experience and has worked out prefered settings that I may use as a starting point let me know.
Compression, Room Equalization, Full Equalizer, Gain, Equalizer Gain, etc.
I have a Bassman 4x10 Cabinet with the tweeter control knob on back. From what I have read and tries it sounds best tuened down.
I have a couple of Washburn active basses that sound almost flat and an SX Jazz Type that is passive that sounds great.
