Fender Bassman TV question

Discussion in 'Amps and Cabs [BG]' started by rhopper, May 4, 2010.

  1. Does anybody know if the DI on the Fender Bassman TV series is pre or post fader?

Can't find a schematic or manual anywhere right now.

    Thank you,

Hey there...I could have found out last week but a soundman hooked me up with the same ole run of mill DI not thinking my amp would have one...I am thinking it HAS to be PRE....otherwise the gain and volume would be affecting the output as we add more volume here and there...i WOULD like to hear how it sounds though...but my semi-educated guess would be PRE...I am going to be rehearsing tonight...perhaps I could throw the DI into the PA to see if it is affected by adding more gain/volume...by the way, I have the TV Twelve...I am REALLY on the fence about getting the duo ten or 15 (for the added wattage) but I can't stand the thought of more weight...the 12 is managebale @ 44 lbs...but 60 gets a lil' much...there are wheels on the 350w one's though??? Hmmmm....

  3. Thanks, please let me know what you can find out.

The DI is a major factor in going with the 12" or 15" for me.

Thanks, but don't want to hijack the OP's thread.

If those TV models were a little less expensive I would've snagged one for sure.
