"Fender Benders"

    There will probably be a lot of controversy is this thread but I am prepared for it.

    Fake Fenders, Fender Benders if you will, they are out there and I it is time to show them off.
    If you modded one, built it, parted it, whatever, lets see them.

    This is my SX P/J.

    (i marked the neck pockets, stating it is NOT a real fender.)

    I also am building a warmoth jazz. pics when i can.

    I appreciate your taking the trouble to mark the neck pockets, but the question that occurs to me is: why put Fender decals on it (including a Telecaster decals on what is clearly not a Telecaster bass, and adding what appears to be a custom shop sticker) when it's not a Fender, and you've marked it to ID it as such? To me personally, nothing about the decals makes any sense. :confused:

    Seems like it would have made more sense to make your own custom decal.

    i did think about doing that.
    i still may add something to make it more my own than a fender clone.

    i understand the appearance thing.

    The bass looks nice...

    I'm with Pilgrim though, why not come up with a custom decal of your own?
