This is a Fender CIJ Jaguar bass with block inlays and matching headstock.

Based on the serial number this bass was manufactured between 2006-2008.

Bass is in great condition (I haven’t been able to find any dings or blemishes) and sounds great, I just haven’t meshed well with it. The bass is a tad bit noisy and needs some grounding, but from what I’ve seen that’s pretty standard for these CIJ Jaguars.

Currently strung with some GHS bass boomers (45-100) and has some Schaller s locks installed (will also include the lock component that’s attached to the strap). Gig bag will be included. I can include a hardshell case instead but would likely have to charge more because of shipping cost.

In terms of trades I’m looking for a G&L SB-1 or LB-100, though any 4 stringed G&L would also catch my eye. I would also be interested in American-made Fender or Musicman. I would also be willing to discuss including pedals or cash in either direction, so show me what you got!

Edit: I would still prefer local trades or sale around Chicago, but opening up to the rest of CONUS now.

This is basically a Jazz neck? 34" still?

Bump, these basses are incredible. Mine is my #1! They are pretty much a single coil G&L L2000, more polite but the bass and treble control has more range. Very literally a jazz bass on steroids!

These basses really are nice. I've had one (the black version with a few mods) for about 13 years and it's been my number one for much of that time. I'm playing it in my profile pic. They're great studio basses as well with lots of tone possibilities. Someone jump on this! You won't regret it.
