This is going to be a tough one for me to part with. I looked for a P Bass for a long time before finding this one. It’s light, resonant, punchy and so warm. IMO it’s the epitome of how a P Bass should sound and feel. I’m not playing as much as I once was and am more of a 5-string guy, so I can’t really justify keeping this one around right now.

It currently has the Aguilar Hot P pickups in it. I will include those, as well as the original pickups from the custom shop. Both are very different vibes, so you’ll have some sweet options! Original pickup covers and case candy will also be included. I have those pictured in the photo of the tweed case.

Weight on the bathroom scale is 8.4lbs

Would you be willing to make a trade? I have an Ibanez gsr 200. It’s modified into a fretless. The frets were not filled in but it still plays fine. It has a few minor nicks that purely affect the looks and it still plays great. My email is jwkannel@gmail.com. Email me if you want more details or pics.

Do you know the neck profile dimensions (e.g., neck radius and nut width) and type of frets (vintage, medium jumbo, etc.)?

    Hi,
Sorry, I’m new to the group. Can be shipped to Europe?

  10. Surprised this is still here. I’ve got 2 of these - a 62 and a 59 - and they are the best sounding and playing P basses I’ve ever owned. Brand new they would cost twice this price.

I think this is the bass model Scott from Scott's Bass Lessons is pictured with often. His is the heavy relic. But I think its the white '59.

No clue why it’s still here either. It’s an amazing instrument.

Sorry guys, I was able to sell a few other items so, I've decided to keep this around. I just cant part with it right now. Thanks to everyone for your offers.

I didn't see where to remove the thread, so I just marked it as sold.

I have the ‘64 relic custom shop P and it’s the nicest sounding bass I’ve ever owned. Good move hanging onto it.
