This is hands down the best Fender I've ever played, and the best jazz bass I've ever played. The wood they used on this bass are just top shelf. The neck has a beautiful flame on the back and the rosewood fingerboard is the best piece of rosewood I've ever seen on a bass, just perfect. This bass is in excellent condition. The only flaw in this is that the original owner put the 70's bridge cover on and had holes drilled for it. Take a look at the picture, it was a pro job, but none the less they are there.

Now to the bonuses! This bass has Jason Lollar pickups in it and is passive. This is the reason I bought this bass in the first place. I didn't care too much for the fender preamp, or the noiseless pickups either. I play jazz basses because of the single coil growl and meat. This bass has it! Passive setup with the Lollar pickups just kills. The original pickups and preamp still come with the bass, so if you want to have the put back in, by all means, but you won't want to after you hear it.

    $1450 shipped!

Oh yeah, and for you weight conscience folks, this bad boy weighs in at an amazing 7.8lbs. When I do 4 hour gigs, this is the only bass that I bring because I'm pain free by the end of the night still.
