For sale is my beloved Fender custom shop Reggie Hamilton 5 with a custom sonic blue paint job done by Wilkins (as per the previous owner).
Amazing bass, owned it for almost 3 years and one I thought I would keep till the end.
Unfortunately circumstances and finances force the sale.
Features a noiseless Fender N3 bridge pickup, hipshot tuners with an extender drop A, quatersawn neck with graphite support rods, a great preamp, passive mode switch.
Includes the beautiful original case, certificate of authenticity and QC inspection card.
No issues and cosmetically in great shape.
Only blemishes are a few small marks behind the bridge B string area, hard to see but I tried to show them one of the pics.
    No trades on this one.
Not sure how to price this but based on the online price of about 3750$ and considering the custom paint job I'm asking 2500$ shipped to north america OBO.
Shipping to other countries is possible on a case to case basis, please PM me.
Feel free to ask any questions you might have.
I know somebody is going to ask the weight, I don't know but will try to weigh it as best I can.
It's certainly not heavy but not super light like a Sadowsky or such, probably around 9 pounds.

    Case and paperwork

Serial number starts with CZ5, I blurred it out on the pick as a precaution (not really sure why but it seemed like a sensible thing to do)

Also, just to be clear, the savvy user will note that the bass is currently strung with TI flats (and a low B Labella).
These strings are not included and the bass will ship with a set of Daddario rounds.

You say drop tuner on the E string but the Hipshot looks to be on the first tuner so is it tuned E-C?

    No it´s tuned B to G
    So it's a drop A on the B string.
I noticed that there was a mistake in the description I copy/pasted from another site.
    I've corrected it.
I've also seen different descriptions of the fret board but I believe it's pau ferro.
Not sure how to differentiate from rosewood?
