Fender Custom Shop thrift store find!

Discussion in 'Basses [BG]' started by Bugeyed Earl, Apr 1, 2015.

  1. I walked into a Salvation Army store on Monday and found something amazing from the Custom Shop. Yep, that was the price, don't hate me because I'm lucky ;)

That would go good with your Fender keychain and Fender barstool that you sit on to play your Fender guitar which is strung with Fender strings.

cool, now you're going to need some beads, and those weird narrow wide 60's sunglasses, or maybe the round ones like Jack!

Seriously, though, Fender really ought to know by now that most of the folks interested in purchasing such a thing need size XXL by now! :roflmao::(
  5. Yep, it's too bad that style went out of fashion about 5 years ago (and about 40 years prior to that, and 170 years before that...)

I heard the Byrds might be reforming, maybe they need a bass player.

I'd wear that. Everything in Rock-n-roll is out of fashion at some point...

I heard that "blouse" was made using the original template and pre-CBS sewing machines.

I was on the fence about whether it's original or not.

Those look like after market buttons, but it does have the "mid lapel hump".

    I'm going with legit.

  16. Road worn for sure, and I'm fairly certain the armpit mojo is genuine (smells that way.)
