The bass is in excellent shape, with only a few faint scratches by the bridge-they look as though they were caused by a careless string change. They are not noticeable unless you look closely in the right light-it took me a while to get 'em to show in the pic. The pots are a tad scratchy and could use some De-Oxit. There are no other issues. She just had a pro setup and a set of fresh Fender rounds put on by Montreal luthier Michel Fournel, who I also had remove the stock detuner. The bass comes with the original detuner, certificate of authenticity, hang tag, bumper sticker, instructions and case, Dunlop straplock buttons. Bass/treble both with sweepable freq, pan and vol. It plays and sounds great, with sweet, low action and is nice and light: weighs a hair under 9 lbs. A beautiful sounding and looking, unique CS piece. If ordered today this would exceed $4800 USD before shipping, and I am not sure if they would do it in blue without an additional upcharge, and there'd be a loooooong wait. 2500 shipped CONUS from NY or can be picked up in Montreal. I am not looking for trades but will consider partials: micro heads by GB, Eden, GK, Mesa M9, MP600 or Walkabout, super 12 cabs, Phil Jones Bass Cub or possible other top quality combos <35lbs. I doubt I would be tempted by a bass but if you have a super light (well under 9 lbs) Lakland 5594, 5501/2 or a DJ5 with Aeros or Elrick NJS5 or Zon 519....then ya never know. I am just not a Fender guy, no matter how sweet the Fender.
