Fender Deluxe Jazz V String Spacing

Discussion in 'Basses [BG]' started by Jeremy Morgan, Nov 1, 2005.

  1. Please can anyone who owns one tell me what the string spacing is at the bridge on the 5-string Fender Deluxe Jazz?

I am interested in a current MIA model if that makes any difference.

Had a search on the Forum but couldn't get a definitive/consistent answer.

    Thanks!

Its adjustable, I like mine wide apart ;) and have managed to get about 18mm between the strings

  3. Ooo'er :eyebrow: ......Does yours have the original bridge? I thought that with a standard Fender bridge the string spacing wasn't adjustable.

Yes it does, its a 2004 MIA Jazz Deluxe V and it allows for adjustable string spacing on the stock bridge. Its one of the main reasons I chose this particular Fender as the string spacing is similar to my Sadowsky.
