Saw in in a store for 220.

My problem right now is that Got and Svt 3 pro. That is not the problem as much as I feel it is underpowered. I am using an ampeg bse 410h and a bse 410 hlf. Whend I go up against 2 marshall stacks, it is all I can do to compete.

So I have been looking at getting a Hartke 7000. I figure, for the price, it should do everything I need and sound good. I don't have a lot of cash right now, so that is a limiting factor. If I wait till Feb, I can plunk down on a really nice head, but I don't want to be in the gutter until then.

Anyways, anyone used this head at all? It seems to be pretty darn loud. Just wondering how some of you liked the sound. Also, what other amps around 300-500 should I be looking at?

Another strong candidate is the firebass 700.

Both of them I am looking to get a good LOUD sound for the stage.

I used to have the BXR-400. It was pretty heavy but seemed like a decent rig. It gets as loud as any other 200w/200w rig gets. I'd suggest mounting it in a case/rack; it gets pretty beat up carrying it otherwise.

I had no real complaints. It was pretty good technology in 1990 or so.
