I recently went to the Fender website, www.fender.com, to see that they had added a
"Jackson Guitars" section to their gear menu, leading me to believe that Fender had bought Jackson.
Today I went back to the site only to see a GRETSCH GUITARS banner.

Does anybody else find this kind of wierd, that Fender has been going on a "spending spree"?

Who's next, maybe Gibson? ;)
  2. Maybe Fender and Bill Gates will join forces...

  3. Does this mean in the middle of a gig, my Precision will turn blue and stop working?
  4. More likely your digital pedals, surely............
  5. Fender & Gates are going to take over the world!

    WE'RE DOOMED!!!

  6. LOL, nice one Rabbid_Granny !!!

Don't worry too much, post-Microsoft Fenders will come with a reset button ... :D

And a start button that you have to push to turn the bugger off.
  8. I hate that!

Maybe Fender will start dressing all in black and starting the "New Liberation Fender Army" complete with the "Death Strato" a guitar so powerful it can engulf an entire club in chaos and destruction.

    *plays Galactic Empire theme*

  10. LOL, yea, gotta update your preamp/tone controls every month to keep up with 'technology' when they are ACTUALLY plaanting cameras and things in there, to see when you are playing covers, without paying!!
