**REVISED the title of the ad** Nicely modded/upgraded 2003 Fender Highway One Jazz bass in Satin Transparent Red. Traded a 5er for it (Nov. '13; switched to BEAD on 4's) as I liked the mods/upgrades, and also because it has been a while since I've owned a Fender Jazz. However, I'm set with my Spectors, and as predicted this is just hanging around not being played. Upgrades/Mods: -DiMarzio Model J DP123 pickups -Babicz FCH-4 Chrome Bridge -Hipshot HB7 Tuners (3) -Hipshot BT7 Bass Xtender -Copper shielded pickup routes and electronics cavity -CTS Pots and series/parallel pickup selection via push/pull on the tone -Chrome dome knobs (I have replaced the big knobs shown in the initial pics) This bass has serious thunder thanks to the Model Js and the Babicz! It's a player, body has some wear, not mint quality. I'd say a 7-8/10, dents here and there, some scratches; these Highway One finishes are thin and fragile (much like the Ibanez SR5xx basses) Neck is great, straight, truss rod turns great, frets are nice, ends could be dressed. Weight is 8.8 lbs. I don't have any of the stock parts, sorry. $580 via Paypal, SHIPPED, ConUS. Neck and body separated, packaged together. TRADES I would consider: 4 string Spector, or MIJ 93'-94' Ibanez SR500 or 590 or other MIJ Ibanez active PJ bass.
