Mark Hoppus in Surf Green. This bass is dated to 2001, so this may possibly be a first run of the (in)famous signature line. It has an aftermarket pick guard so its no longer considered 100% original. It does have the original neck, electronics, hardware, and finish. Purchased in pretty poor condition, I’ve completed a full tear down, and have thoroughly cleaned the bass including removing most if not all oxidation on the frets and hardware. I’ve tried to document the cosmetic issues as much as possible, so if you have any additional questions past the attached images, please let me know. It's a player, not a showpiece... Priced competitively and ready to go. Will ship with new Fender branded gig bag, or will provide a new case for an additional fee (PM me and we can chat about it.) Local deal (Los Angeles) preferred. Shipping within Continental US for actual shipping costs. Trade Bait: MIA Standard P-bass neck w/maple fretboard (parts bass w/that neck, or JUST that neck,) Mesa Subway D-800, Mesa Walkabout, Aggie TH500.
Not my first bass, but my daphne blue Hoppus is the one I really learned to play on. Definitely a fun instrumet. GLWTS!
Hump day, bump day. I *might* be willing to part this out, but only if someone wants the body and/or the neck. I can find decent use for just about everything else...
