Fender identification help

    Have a chance to buy this. It's being presented as a 1992 American Precision. Plastic still on pickguard. Obviously it's a deluxe with the Jazz P/U. What do the experts say. Asking $1G.

    These are nice basses. $1,000 is top dollar. You can definitely score one for much less if you are patient but if this is a good player it may just be worth the price.

    Models from this era are affectionately referred to as "Boner" basses because of the proportionately large upper horn.
