For Sale Only, I have to ignore trade requests.

Want to sound like the Graceland album? Sure you do. That's the tone you've got here. In fact, what bass was that guy using? I think it might have been a Japanese Fender P/J. (turns out incorrect but he did use a fretted one in the video lower)

Anyway, don't think knobs are original to the model, they were usually black F imprinted, these are strat type. Looks all original aside from that. Fingerboard is amazing. Back of neck has a lot of tiny marks. Body has wear but really only goes through the paint by the jack. Headstock has lots of tiny marks and someone has written in a few digit code above the D-G tuners, doesn't stand out unless you're up on it.

E plus 6 digits puts it between 1984-1987

I've had it for years, never thought I'd let it go but time to do some serious cutting back. You will never find a better fretless bass for this price.

$450 + shipping cost if any

I'm sure it sounds great but Bakhiti Kumalo played a Washburn bass on that record. I had one of these Japanese Fenders & loved it. Especially on recordings.

Sweet bass. Do want! I have a silver fretted model. I'd be all over this if I had the $$$.

If you watch closely, the footage shows him playing two different basses! Checkout 2:38 thru 2:42 for the odd bass out. :D

Beautiful looking vintage Fender! Sounds beautiful on the track! I'm actually looking for a 5 string fretless but I'm thinking on this one for sure. :)

Thanks, that was a Fodera though. Ya know I've got a Leduc 5 fretless for sale on here, that thing's sweet.

Great bass at a low price. I had the same. My stock knobs were gun metal matching the bridge. Lovely J neck.
