Fender Japan - Model numbers?

    Has anyone ever worked out a list of the fender Japan model numbers and what they roughly equate to in the american fender line?

    I'm thinkin' of importing something in the near future... :D

  3. Basically there are many different reissue years, and certain ones are more expensive than others. The second number (price) is a good indicator of the "quality" range. It's as if Fender labelled their MIM basses JB-400 and MIA basses JB-1000 or something.
