Fender Jazz 1975 Re-Issue

    Can anyone tell me when Fender first started to manufacture
    the 1975 Re-Issue Jazz?? I have done a few searches and can't seem to find the answer. :help:

    It is right on the Fender web site in the specs for that bass...1999

    Thanks, nice catch! I only asked because there are 2 '75 re-issues selling on evil bay and both sellers are alleging that they were made between 1984-1987. I thought it sounded a little early for a '75 re-issue.

    Fender Japan has been making '75 reissues for a while - mine's from 1993, and they were making them before that.

    Thanks Kenny. At least I know it was before 1999. Like I said, I just can't seem to find exactly what year Fender began to manufacture this bass.
