Fender Jazz '75 Reissue

    I might be getting one of these soon. Anyone have one? What have your experiences been? It's an ash/maple combo. I know alot of people are down on that particular combo, but I like it.

    It's the Japanese model, BTW.

    Opinions? And pics of course if you own one. ;)

    I used to have the same bass (MIJ RI 75). Personally, I think it was a great bass, well constructed and, in some aspects, even better than some MIA I´ve played.

    The only things I've noticed that are different between the CIJ '75's and the US ones are that the bridge pickup placement on the CIJ's is NOT the '70's Fender placement (it is closer to the neck, like on the 60's Jazzes), and that the neck binding does not cover the fret edges like on the US reissues...
