Fender Jazz Bass 24?!?!? Are they any good?

  1. First off I have never really been a Jazz Bass lover, not that they are bad, it's has never been my cup o tea. However, I have the opportunity to maybe trade some gear worth about $500.00 for a brand new Jazz bass, Special Edition Jazz Bass 24 .

I played around with it for about 30 minutes and it had a good feel and playability. Sounded very good with the BassLines p/up's. I noticed it was made in Korea.
I play on a 6 string and it felt good to pick up a 4 banger.

    Any comments on this bass.

    what are youi trading off?
  3. I am getting rid of a Peavey 4*10 TVX cab and a Peavey 15" black widow (700 watts) cab.

I nevr really use them any more.
  4. If you like it, jump on it. I definitely liked the one I played, especially in it's price range. It compares well with it's higher priced sibling the FMT Jazz. But you'll be paying more than double that price for an FMT. The "slap switch" is pretty cool as well.
