Ok so I just got this Fender American Series Jazz from "2001/early 2002" according to the Fender CS serial# tool. Regarding this model year, I read numerous articles before purchasing that this model/yr came stock with a bridge which only allowed the string-through body option, and NOT top load. This may sound stupid but from the photos I have attached, but doesn't this bridge allow top-load by its design? Am I not seeing something here?
Thanks for any insight as I am in no way a Fender expert... fender 2.

You are correct, you can string through the bridge also.

Thank you sir...I wonder why all of the articles stated string through only? Kind of misleading unless the person before me changed bridges..

...or perhaps enough consumers complained and FMIC went back to the either/or option.
