I think they look better with a rosewood board:

Incorrect, they look better with a maple board, but with black block inlays and binding. :bassist:

They don't make Custom Classics that way.
Mine looked and played great, but didn't sound any better than a Fender Deluxe Jazz.

I was simply stating my preference to how i would like it to appear. But nonetheless, good lookin' bass.

  8. I think that headstock looks naked. I guess I'm just used to the 70's style Headstock on my Highway One, but it just looks really bare.

  9. Next bass I buy, when I have the money, will be a CS like that. I'll even go Masterbuilt to get it just like that!

Btw, that controlplate, on what models is it standard, or is it some kind of addon, since these are the only one's I've seen?

That's just a little plastic dealy telling you what all the knobs do. You take it off, like the plastic over your pickguard.

  11. Well, I've never seen it, all the Fenders sold in Finland just have a plain plastic sheet without any fancy text :D

The part that makes it so sexy is the wood grain with that translucent blue. Any neck with blocks would compliment it.
