hey guys. I'm looking for a fretless jazz bass neck (preferably with the old style fender decal (70's) Does anybody know where I can find one? I've been checking ebay but keep getting sniper bid :( hehe.. my only requirements are I wanted it to be lined, so people i'm teaching can see the frets, and have a laquer (sp) back. Thanks!

I had the same fear about cutting a new nut, but it wasn't really a big deal. You should be able to do it in an hour or two (on your first or second try). If you buy a used neck you may need to replace the nut anyway.
BTW, USA custom guitars makes great necks too.
